“33 Years of Keeping the Trojans’ Bite through Quality Health Care”

 

                          Once again another milestone for the 1308th Dental Dispensary for their dynamic role in providing quality dental health services to the 15th Strike Wing personnel, dependents and civilian employees ensuring their oral conditions is always at its best at all times in order for the Trojans to accomplish their mandated task of providing air support & combat operations.

                         To meet the new techniques and skills brought about by changing technology and advances of a new information of dental materials, the dental dispensary sends one dental officer to specialize in the field of endodontic dentistry and further improve the increasing demand for quality dental health care of the wing.

                           As provider of oral health care the 1308th dental dispensary has been very active in support of the Wings CMO activity, these noble endeavours are goal in our commitment for peace and development.  Moreover, in support of the National Dental Health Month, the unit conducted Troop Information and Education to personnel of 15th Strike Wing, extends dental services to public school teachers as part of the unit’s Adopt A School Teacher and Adopt A School Program respectively.

         Finally, to enhance the diagnostic capability, this unit recently made advanced procurement of one (1) unit Digital Dental X-Ray Machine (wall typed), that produce a radiographic image with crisp details necessary to arrive at a correct diagnosis with lesser radiation exposure.  Also, the unit made enhancement of its surgical capability through acquisition of Phlegm Suction Machine, ensuring visibility through adequate fluid isolation from the field of operation during special surgical procedures.
